DIY Coloring Pennant Banner
Recently, we celebrated DH’s birthday. The kids usually enjoy helping me to decorate and to create something special for him. This year, we made a custom pennant banner together. I created a template, printed it out, and the kids went to town with their crayons and oil pastels. They love using oil pastels as the colors are so vibrant and they were all very proud to see their work on display.
Attached is the free template which includes all the letters of the alphabet as well as numbers 0-9 that you can use to customize any birthday or celebration for that matter. This printable really has so many options and does not have to be limited to parties. You can print out all the letters of the alphabet to decorate your home learning space or you can pick and choose which letters to string together your own motivational quotes. Other ideas include printing out your child’s name for him or her to color or doodle on and then use to decorate their room or just print the pages out, cut them in half, and use as part of your child’s letter of the day or number of the week activity. The possibilities are absolutely endless.
