Father’s Day Coloring Cards

Father’s Day is just around the corner! Today, I wanted to share with you some Father’s Day coloring cards I recently made. My kids have been busy coloring, writing, and making cards for their grandpas, uncles, and daddy. I hope these printable coloring cards can be useful and fun for your family too!

This is a set of two cards, that will print one to a page and measure 5X7. This file is best printed out onto 110lb white cardstock, cut around the dark black border, then folded in half to make cards for kids to color, write, and gift to a father figure they wish to celebrate.

As my kids like to have lines when they write, I made a page of lined paper to print on the back side, which when folded will just be on the inside. This is the third page of the download.

The cards feature a shark and a whale with a cheeky pun. Kids can choose to decorate their cards in a variety of ways. Here my kids used paint and added their fingerprints to create water, air, bubbles, and hearts.

They then used crayons to complete their picture.

They used dot markers to decorate some of their cards.

They also used fresh flowers. My kids enjoyed picking blue hydrangeas that are currently blooming and gluing them on as the air that is expelled out of a whale’s blowhole when it surfaces to breathe. Because the flowers are likely to wilt and brown, you could either hang the card upside down to dry to create a pretty keepsake or take a picture of your child holding the card they created.
