Leap Year Frog Crown Craft

Today I wanted to share a simple paper crown craft that kids can make and wear to observe leap day and celebrate leap year as this only comes around once every four years. My kids really enjoyed decorating and wearing their crowns and learning a bit more about why we have this day. I hope your kids will enjoy these too!

This file is best printed out onto white cardstock and given to kids to color and decorate as desired.

My kids love watercolors so decided to paint their crowns.

My oldest daughter is really excited for spring and wanted to make a rainbow frog.

The crown will need to be cut out and the bands glued to both sides. Lastly, help your kids to measure their head and staple to close.
