Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day! Today we celebrate all the super moms who have helped to bring us into this world, raise, nurture, guide, teach, and provide for us! I made a free coloring sheet as well as writing activity for the kids to complete for their special mom. Everything is free to download below.
When you think about it, moms have a lot in common with superheroes. They work hard and are constantly saving lives (I can’t tell you how many times I have had to pry Legos and coins from my kids’ mouths). They can be available at a moment’s notice, multi-task efficiently, and are always maintaining peace. In your children’s eyes, you are also a hero that they look up to and depend on.
I am always on the lookout for more writing activities for my kids. These questionnaires are so much fun and as a bonus, make great keepsakes. It is hilarious to see their answers plus it is a great way for kids to work on their writing skills. My daughter wrote about how I need more help with cleaning. Kids can be so honest and perceptive. It also gives me some insight as to what my kids value and remember. My daughter wrote mom is really good at putting stars (on her reward chart) and that she makes the best ponies (I like to make large cutouts for my kids’ birthdays).

I create more printable activities for kids here with the goal of helping to grow kids who love to learn.
I hope your family enjoys a wonderful Mother’s Day today!
